I had one a couple of years ago,i was 37, his leg will hurt for a couple of weeks where they go in with the camera, they have to go through about 2 inches of muscle to get to the vein, they put in two stents in me, i was back at work in 2 weeks, since then i have jumped out of a perfectly good eroplane, dived with sharks ,and climbed mountains, don't take this the wrong way ,but there is no such thing as a minor HT, if he doesn't have the whole crack your chest open thing happen, and has the stents, in the next 3 or 4 weeks he will be ok to fly by sept , after his near life expierence, the best thing for him is to go to bali and have a great holiday and chill.I am going over in a month, the only thing im hopeing doesn't happen , is that i dont set off the metal detectors, those stents are made of stainless steal HA HA, HOPE HE GETS WELL SOON, CHEERS BRAVEHEART
