Most definately up to his doctor to get the right advice but he probably has blocked (costricted)Arteries and if so will either have a bypass or Stint inserted in the artery or arteries , if he has the stint which is the most likely then he will be as good as new and in and out of Hospital in 3days and playing golf on the fourth.The Bypass however takes a lot, lot longer to get over.
If he's in a Fund then he'll probably really enjoy Bali after the op which shouldnt take long to organose
The public system however takes for ever in OZ
With no surgery flying probably wouldnt be the best thing to do as you actually have less oxygen flying at 40000 feet than at ground level even though the cabin is pressurised. you could use blood thinning agents such as aspro to reduce the risk of another attack but lack of oxygen & stress wouldnt help. you'd really be in the hands of the Gods
