The $2.35 for insurance up to $100 value is for parcels within Australia only. For insurance on international parcels it's $5.50 as a base charge, then $2 for every $100 value (to a max $5000 value).
Eg, if you register for $100 value it costs $7 to insure. For $200 value it's $9 etc.
That applies to "most countries" according to the Aus Post guide. You'd have to check if Indonesia is one of those countries they provide insurance for. I'd guess it might not be though, due to the high possibility of a claim.
