surface on the inside and it cracked too! It was painted on cheap sheeting as oppossed to canvas, so perhaps that was the problem. Or was it the change in humidity? What ever the cause, keep your painting flat for as long as possible, then once home, unroll it immediately and get it framed ASAP to avoid further damage (as suggested by our framer, who is also an artist).
