Bali Today: Two men with their teenage daughters in tow were arrested for trying to smuggle a Turbocharger specifically designed for a green Jimny into Bali today.
The authorities had been forwarned of this attempt and acted accordingly when the device was discovered.
An informer known only as Crackerraedavidmoirasuejim apparently gave the tip off earlier in the week after intercepting coded messages here on the Forum.
A spokesman for airport authorities stated that the Turbo was destined to be used in the upcoming BaliRally and was considered cheating, he went on to say that the BaliRally is now considered to be Bali's premier sporting event and that they would go to any lengths to see that it is not compromised with poor sportsmanship such as this.
The two defendants known only as 'Andretti and the Navigator' were released on bail of one carton of cigarettes each and told that they must report back to authorities whenever they felt like it.
The informant was last seen driving through the Mountains of Bali in three seperate cars screaming 'NO, This is NOT considered Rally Practice'
