We are going on 9th July, and although not octagons, but near enough we are not unduly worried. We do not frequent night clubs which would be number one target, and all the large hotels check all vehicles inside and out, so I cannot see there is any real danger. If one is in the wrong place at the right time bad luck. I think there are greater risks on the road in Australia and Bali than the risk from being blown up. Have a good holiday and don't stay up all night at a night club.
