ADELAIDE BTF DINNER - DATE CHANGE

Just wanted to advise everyone that the Adelaide BTF dinner which was to be held in August is being brought forward to late July.

The date change we are looking at is Saturday July 23rd. Still to be held at Pondok Bali restaurant. Menus etc TBA but probably around the same price as previously posted [approx $28 per head].

Having searched through the archives for Adelaide forumites many seem to be away in June or September. Ideally we are hoping to encourage some of the newer members on the forum to come along with friends and /or family members, and share their Bali experiences, or just boost the excitement of an upcoming trip.

Helen Flavel from the HF Foundation will have been back approximately a month and will be able to update everyone on the progress of the Learning Centre. She will also hopefully have details of children the foundation is seeking to sponsor. It is a great opportunity for anyone considering sponsorship to meet with Helen personally. For further information on the foundation go to www.helenflavelfoundation.org

Prizes, raffles and auction items will be a part of the night, and donations towards this will be gratefully accepted. We are hoping to raise funds for the foundation.

Please post if you are interested in attending the dinner and tick the box to register your email address so we can make contact with you. As further details come to hand either myself, Bopgirl [jill], Aminkila [Linda], or HeatherB [Heather] will be in touch to keep you updated. Alternatively contact me by clicking on Colleen [in blue] at the top of this page. Remember to remove 'no spam' on the email address before sending.

For those who have said they would attend in August could you please repost stating if you are still able to attend in July. We do apologize for changing dates but July seems to better suit a number of people. Look forward to your replies... Colleen, Heather, Linda, Jill and Helen.

PS - I received an SMS message from Helen today saying 58 heads of schools were at the presentation & in her speech she said Thanks to all of Adelaide forumites for helping with the fundraising.
