a holiday for a 15 year old when during your holiday you have a RCT!. Yes the prices are good and all. I can't give you my personal opinion as a patient of dental treatment in Bali, I can only give you my opinion as a dental nurse & as a mother.
The reason you would need a RCT is because the nerve has died, & that can happen to anyone at any age.
I would probably go and have my annual check up, x-rays, scale & polish & general fillings done in Bali for both my husband & I, save money in that general work to put money aside for the RCT in Aus.
but that is simply my opinion. I want to make it clear that I am not having a go at DR Sucipto in any way, nor am I going to advertise where I work............he has enough $$$$..........hehehehe.
But at the end of the day, your daughter has to be comfortable with the whole process. Being a molar it is more complecated as you have multiple roots and all of them have to be cleaned, definitley more complex.
I am going to be away this w/end, but if you need any more info give me a yell.
Cheers
P.s just a quick tip.............call your endo and ask him/her the time frame for the RCT, how many appts etc. That way when you make the appt with Dr Sucipto you can go by your endo's guidelines.
OH, also, it is very rare, I have never heard of having a general anaesthetic for a RCT, normally it is a local, at most "laughing gas".
