If you have a little twinge in the belly I feel Norrit DOES help but it my opinion if you have the full on case of BB - in agonising painful cramps that make you double up,running to the loo 20x a day & more, feeling weak & dizzy, light headed & overall feeling like you are dying it does absolutely nothing.
I never thought this way until last trip when the 2 of us got a full on dose of BB.I tried to be strong & used Norrit for 3 days but I had to give in & get proper medication. It really is all I found that worked. My husband didn't start medication till a few days later & he was still crook when we got home.I personally think the best thing to do is if you develop bad symptoms get proper medication ASAP.
I think many people accidentally mistake what I will politely refer to as " a change in diet & regularity " as true BB.In many cases it is just your body going through the consquences of a change of food.Norrit will usually help this condition. It is NOT true BB.
It is not until you have a full on dose of BB that you realise that their is a huge difference between the 2 conditions.Anyway my heart goes out to you Fiona we know what you are going through.Hope you feel better soon.
