Up The Mountain Report
G'day All
We're on day 9 of 58 at the moment and after spending a week in Legian have moved to our little house in the village of Bangah just below Pacung. The weather up here is beautiful and quite cool in the evening.The kids are having the time of their life as, no doubt, will my bank manager be when we get home.
The bar and toilets are progressing nicely and the bar will be opening next Friday. Unfortunately the toilets will be a while longer as they are a much bigger project.
Our time in Legian was very relaxing and the kids loved the Garden View Cottages. We had one of the Bungalows which fitted the nine of us quite comfortably and wouldn't be a problem even for a family of 6 with older kids than ours.
We had some lovely meals at places like La Monde, Legian Garden and Rum Jungle while we walked out of Legian Snacks without even bothering to finish breakfast.
We'll be back in Legian or Sanur for a night or 2 most weeks so anyone who wants to catch up after the BaliRally next week can call us on

Anyone wanting to join a bit of the Rally fun can also catch up with the full crew at the scrutineering night at Bali Cyber Cafe on the 14th of this month. The Rally starts the following morning and will wind up on the 18th with a high speed slide past back at Bali Cyber.
Well, the kids have finished their lunch here at the Pacung Indah and are now nagging me to get off the bloody computer and come back to Bali.
I'll try and post a bit of what we are doing up here in the village over the next few days as we meet more of the locals.
