I stayed here last time we went to Ubud (last Sept) in a two bedroom villa. It was the most quiet, secluded place ever. KK is at the end of a dirt road in the middle of the rice paddies so all you hear are frogs and birds. It is owned by an Aust woman Cathy and her Balinese artist husband. The money from KK goes back into the local community. The accomodation was superb. I think it cost about $80 for both rooms. They were joined by a door and each had their own kitchen, bathroom and garden - but were set away from the others. The gardens are beautiful with goldfish ponds and a foot bridge and cascading water. The 20 minute walk into Ubud is stunning too. Check out the website if you like the sounds of it.
