and have not yet had to make a claim, ours is with Commonwealth but the policy is excellent covers everything with no exclusions for travel warnings etc. Check with the insurer direct because you may need to take copies of policy and tax invoice for tickets with you in case of a claim. The insurer told me that they must have a tax invoice for these before you can make a claim, even if you are overseas. Lots of travel agents dont send a tax invoice, only an itinerary, unless requested so make sure that you have one. Keep photocopies of these documents as you would your passport and make sure you take the telephone number of the insurance company with you also.
