Jimbaran is nice a little far away. Kuta is great for shopping and eating. If you dont need rupiah straight away change it in Bali at the registered money changers they have a blue sign usually in the Kodak shops, be careful of the money changers offering higher rate as they might cheat you, they have all sorts of tricks. We go many times to Bali and have only been cheated onece on our first trip. Bali is beautiful you will have a great time. We are going back in Sept. and staying in Kuta.
