hi i've been to bali nine times and at various times of the year. I havent been there in 'december' but november is very humid as is february although not as bad. June is by far the most pleasant time. BUT you are there to enjoy the place and the pool and beach soon cools you down.
Expect friendly people wanting to know if you have been before and where you are from. I have never felt 'unsafe' in bali. Expect to kick back and slow down to bali pace. expect to eat like the rich and famous yet pay little. You can shop to you drop, party yourself stupid, i just love the place and with all that has gone on lately it will not stop me from going back (planing another trip in august)
