Wont do a day by day description as Im sure it would bore you to tears..
Great Places that we ate at in Legian:

Indo National: Didnt get to eat here as we were only in Legian for 5 nights but did call in to have a cold one. Very nice. Given icy cold washer when you first get there to cool down. Nice touch...

Bamboo Corner: Just down from Melasti Beach resort is sooooo yummy. Great Indonesian Food and lovely icy Bintangs, cant ask for much more than that. Ate there a few times and always had a few people in it.

Rum Jungle: This place is just around the corner from Bamboo Corner. It has indonesian food but does a huge selection of western foods too including pizzas. Ate there three times and each time nothing really to complain about.

Poco Loco: Lovely mexican food here. The only complaint was that we had about a dozen people all together and they got a bit mixed up with the meals. One person didnt even receive there main meal.,but apart from that the food when it finally arrived was yummy...I love the Chicken Quesadillas with the salsa....mmmmmmmmmm....A bit pricey than some of the other places but still cheap compared to Aussie prices.

Yutz's: Just past Poco Loco and round the corner. Small place but served quite nice food.Found it a bit hot in there but apart from that good.

Great places we ate at in Sanur:

Tootsies Restaurant. This became the place we had brekkie at most mornings. Even though its a bit of a walk from our hotel, we got a bit of exercise and then a yummy brekkie once we got there. Service great,Food yummy. Had Indonesian Breakfast most mornings and thoroughly enjoyed it.I could go a Nasi right now actually.

Bennos: Had brekkie here one morning and dinner a couple of times.Nice food. The only down side was the fool waiter there. He has been there for years and his name is Carlos! Yep....and he kept throwing in the odd Spanish word....Every time he came to the table to either drop off a drink or food, he would put on this really annoying high pitched voice. Sounded like his undies had grabbed onto something....Have to say it really got annoying. Having Spanish parents, I know a word or too of spanish.....I dont think he would have liked the expression I was thinking of saying to him......

Spirit Cafe: This place is owned by Gloria and Liz that come from Adelaide. They are very friendly people. When you first are seated they bring round icy cold face washers to cool you down and also a glass of cold water. A very nice touch....And the food served there is excellent. Beautiful cups of coffee (according to hubby and mate)and they also cook pies and cakes there. Hubby had the apple pie there and said it was beautiful. He also tried the Lemon Meringue Pie.Loved it.They also do Meat Pie, Chicken Pies and they will also do mashed potato with gravy.mmmmmmmmmmm
They dont do this everyday but hubby would check when we walked past to see when they were doing it. Luckily this place only opened in the last week of our holiday otherwise I think he would have put on a lot of weight..

Istana Gardens: This place has been around for years. It opened the year we went to Bali for our honeymoon. Ate here a couple of times and thoroughly enjoyed it each time. Chicken Sate is lovely. The sauce had just the right amount of spice. They have a selection of Indo and western meals. They will also drive you back to your hotel if in Sanur area.

7 Seas: This place has only been open since January apparently. They are in the same complex as the Spirit cafe. Food lovely. We sat outside and the ocean breeze was lovely especially while feeding our faces and drinking the Bintangs. Indo and western foods.

On a few occassions I was a bit disappointed with the chicken sate.
Found out that if you want it spicy like they used to do it, you have to ask for Indonesian style otherwise you get the tamed down version.I know for next time now. I suppose , they are toning it down for the tourists but I love SPICY.....

KFC: Yes I know its a fast food chain but their Oriental Bentos are excellent if you love spice.Just a pity it cotains more rice than chicken. Chicken Strips mmmmmmmmmm.Definitely burnt on the way in but you really know your alive..... Have to also mention the perkedels....mmmmm. and the sundaes.
Dunkin Donuts:
Good for a late night snackey on the way back to the hotel.
Apparently the Honey dipped ones taste like Crispy Creme Donuts

Had a few other places we ate at but cant remember all of them at the moment......

Geez Im feeling a bit peckish now.....mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
