Kumala Pantai brilliant and the staff were fine, not overly smiley ALL the time, but always said hello and apa kabir!!!
The weather was funny, not reallllly hot and some days quite overcast in the morning, I guess it is moving into their cooler period so that could be why.
Have booked the Casa Padma for our next stay in August, as the Kumala Pantai is booked out solid (they showed me their booking book) until end of September. Great rate at the casa a deluxe suite for $115 a night including brekkie, the rooms are huge and we are on the ground floor, the swimming pool wraps around the front of all the rooms and although the complex is small, its quiet so no worries about the sunchairs, just maybe the sun!!!!!

Oh and as a little aside, the expats I spoke to said SC is guilty, guilty guilty and did we hear in Australia about her escape...she did the old tie her clothes together and threw them over the wall, they caught her running down that road outside the jail....poor bugger, I would probably have tried as well.
