And, everywhere everyone spoke sufficient English. They could follow my English and I theirs. Absolutely no need to try and learn either Balinese or Bahasa Indonesian. Ofcourse, if you want to, that's a different matter altogether. But, it is definitely NOT a necessity for a tourist in Bali. English is widely spoken & understood.
