You can only take 1 large bottle into Bali and one carton of ciggies. Coming back into Oz you can only bring 2 large bottles and one carton of ciggies. If you have 2 large bottles coming into Oz then you cannot have any more at all - no half drunk bottles etc. If you go over the 2 large bottles and 1 carton ciggies, then you will be charged duty on the whole lot - i.e. pay duty on 2 large bottles, plus the half drunk one, ditto for the ciggies. Hope that explains it.
