One of the set phrases learned by the diligent students at Tourism College, this leads to telling you about our own handling of the matter of planning/scheduling/programming and other proofs of the well-known "Protestant Work Ethic". Not for this Paddy Badak, or was that Paddak ?

Every night, post-Bintang & pre-retirement ( roughly the same time ),
Sunshine and I carry out a strictly formalised briefing upon the activities scheduled for the coming morn. The targets for the day are duly catalogued in order of importance and/or desirability. On the morrow, bright and chirpy, full of the joys of anticipation we scan the list from top to bottom in order that the ensuing cancellations remain duly noted. It has to be said that seldom do any of the planned activities eventuate, usually to be replaced by totally different targets with no relation to practicality, usefulness or virtue in the eyes of anyone.

Lazing around, ceiling inspections, reading soporific books and napping are the order of the day while we are in Bali. As the weather in Bali can be described as, "just rained, going to rain or raining"
thus our holidays may be described as "napping, just napped of going for a nap". Ah Bali, such are thy charms! Why do we do it? Because we like it and we CAN.
