the computer is fine. the best specials are when they give you double memory. the software problem comes up if someone emails you say a word file - you may not be able to open it and vice versa. just for emailing they are very good.
I mentioned this because upgrading the software can be pricey (like over $1,000) if you don't have a friend who can help with discs. You can but cheaper online, and I guess in Bali (haven't looked). I'm paranoid because I can't afford my computers to go down with crook software.
