my favourite hotel is the Legian Village in Jl Padma Legian, they have a web site, its http://www.legianvillage.com/ and is a great place to stay.
the staff are super friendly, it is Balinese owned and operated, and is a very safe place, nice restaurant, convenient, etc etc.....
