Got a frangipani painting done in April 2004 at "Syah" The shop is at Lesmana Street (Oberoi) No. 35, Seminyak. You can't miss it if you are driving past. It is opposite The Bakery.
Cost me 650,000 with some very gentle persuasion from myself and my Balinese friend/driver.
My picture is approximately 2m wide x 190cm.
Got them to take it off the wooden frame, wrap it for me and I bought it back as hand luggage.
Got it restretched and placed on a timber frame at home for $120AUD.
The picture framer told me the canvas they painted on was very good compared to others from Bali he had reframed. Was recently offered $1000 for it.
