It has to be your choice

No matter how many people here put your mind at ease about medical facilities in Bali... the decision ultimately is yours.

If your sons epilepsy is under control then I like the others truly believe you will be fine. If it's not under control then obvioulsy it's going to be a harder decision to make.

On the other side of things you would most likely want your son to live a 'normal' life. Taking him to another country despite his epilepsy will no doubt show him that he can do what he wants in life.

My daughter is asthmatic... when we first told my parents we were heading over to Bali they weren't very impressed given the medical situation. It had been many years since they themselves had been to Bali and they were unaware of the BIMC. We make sure that we take with us all her asthma medication x 2 (just incase a puffer doesn't work), her nebuliser (which we haven't had to use in Bali yet) and then the normal stuff childrens panadol, antihistamine etc. All this can of course be bought in Bali.

We're also going in December... leaving Perth Dec 8th

Good Luck
