Pool: the pool is not a large pool but plenty of room to swim around, it has a swim up bar, also a fountain to help clear the head. there is also an area that is shallow for the little kiddies that is still part of the pool but tiled off if this makes sens, basically you can access the shallow pool from the larger pool. There is aplenty of loiunges around the pool area and there is a nice shady grassy area near the outdoor hairdresser/pool towel area. which is a lovely spot to have your afternoon massage.
Drinks: everything here is reasonable, even the laundry service
3 of us stayed and we ate at the restaurant for a few dinners, ordered drinks by the pool everyday, had laundry service 3 or 4 times, made a few local phone calls and the total bill for 10 nights came to just over $100 Aus which was EXCELLANT.
We had a family room which had 3 double beds and a large balcony overlooking the pool it was on the 2nd floor but when you have been shopping for the day and are loaded it feels like your climbing to the 10th floor, next time we will ask for a ground floor.
Sorry cant help you with restauraunts, as we just walked and once we found one that looked ok we just ate there, there are many in the area you wont have to go far to get a good feed.
Poppies 2: if you turn right at the end of the road when you leave the hotel and dont stop to buy anything (ha ha) it will take approx 10 minutes, if you shop on the way it could take you up to 2 hours, so good luck....taxi from poppies 2 to hotel is 10,000 rups and that is with a generous tip.
Enjoy your holiday, I am going back in March................and I cant wait................. :-))))
