With most budget hotels you will always get a younger crowd and the noise that comes with it. MBR, Bounty, Barong etc. If you can get a room away from the pool area and complain to the management and get moved if you get noisey neigbours. The late night, door slammers, shoe throwers and the "I'll slam the toilet seat down once more just in case the people next door are still asleep" people all seem to be atracted to these places.
