Hi Melba,

Congrat's on your impending wedding!
I travelled with Qantas some years ago to marry in Fiji.
My wedding dress was professionally packed in a box ie. folded carefully with layers of tissue paper stuffed in between folds of fabric. I carried the box on board as hand luggage and placed in overhead compartment.
My wedding shoes I did place with my luggage, but am sure you could pack yours in a box, well sealed and perhaps carry on as luggage also.
Suggest you phone the airline to confirm this is OK. If it is, obtain confirmation in writing to outrule any possible problems when departing.
