Most unlikely to be booked out. You could pop up and have a look whilst you're staying in Tuban. When you're up that way, do yourselves a favour and have some grilled tuna at Warung Sobat. You will be amazed how inexpensive everything is there.

You are also just a short walk from the famous La Lucciola which many people rave about. I remember it from a number of years ago, when it was smaller, less expensive and less pretentious. There used to be a line of wooden reclining benches where the lawn meets the beach and a bamboo lifesaver's tower. The lifesaver, Made, kept one eye on the surf and the other on the G-string clad girls who were plentiful on that part of the beach in those days.

A site I found recently by typing La Lucciola Bali into Google talks about the lifesavers not wearing much and many of the patrons wearing even less and that just about summed it up. I went looking for the place when we were there in August and walked past before I realised how much it had changed [in my opinion for the worse]. We called in and had an overpriced glass of not particularly special fruit juice, just for old times' sake, but were not drawn to go back.

Here's a map which should help: http://warungsobat.tripod.com/

In another post you were talking about going to GitGit. Yes, this would be more easily done from Ubud, together with various places in North Bali. http://www.baliblog.com/04-08/map-of-north-bali.html
Look in the archives for my recent comment on the beautiful unspoilt waterfall area just before GitGit, coming in from the south.

I don't know if you have negotiated successfully with the Tjampuhan yet, but if not you could try popping up to Ubud from Tuban and fronting up at reception. Sometimes you can't beat the personal touch and cash speaks all languages, doesn't it?
