We were in Bali just a coupla weeks ago and used our long-time balinese driver who is a close personal friend. His name is "Fugly" and he lives in Klungkung which is only a short drive from Ubud. Fugly speaks perfect English and he will take you anywhere you want to go and will even add his "personal touch" to each day trip or tour.
Fugly (Wayan Mastra) is usually quite busy so call him on his mobile phone after 6pm, and you're guaranteed to get hold of him. Ok, the number is: 036625039 Tell him you know Joel and Tina!
