I'm going to Bali for my first time at the end of March (coming from Australia). I went and saw the "Travel Doctor". He was fantastic, very thorough and explained everything. I got a Hep A and Typhoid shot in one. Cost me $220 including $80 for the consultation. You are eligible for about $50 back from Medicare and can also claim the rest if you are covered with private health insurance.
There were other vaccinations I could get but they weren't really necessary. I'm only going for 2 weeks and not trekking in the middle of the wilderness anywhere.
They might be expensive but I would recommend going to a travel doctor, especially if your own GP doesn't have a lot of experience in travel vaccinations.
