Yes you can use a Bali sim card. Once you take out your telstra card you can put what card you like in your phone. You will still be paying for your Telstra contract you just won't have the Bali calls charged to that sim card. However there are some phones I think they are vodaphone and the sim card is locked in and you can't get it out unlsess your contract is finished. WE are going on FEb 19 and we are taking an old phone with us just in case we loose it as my phone is still on contract and if it gets lost you still have to pay for it. Hope this helps
