baby and we did just fine! I think Bali would be easier because back 20 years ago when we did it, there was no such thing as disposables and we had to hand wash the nappies! Ugh!

Just watch out for the heat and sun - make sure the baby always has plenty of sterile water to drink as well as milk (breast or bottle).
And have the DRs tel number with you at all times - reckon it might be easier to get a Dr at 2am in the morning in Bali than in Australia!

Take some mild creams for skin rashes and bites and ask your Oz pharmacist for info about proper mossie protection for a baby. I think a small mossie net for over the crib would be a good idea too!
Buy some Aquum (hand wash in a bottle you dont need water for) and use this before you touch your baby. Perhaps dont let strangers carry the baby because that exposes them to their new bugs!
And take some baby panadol too! Check the immunisations are current, maybe ask about HepA but bubs might be a bit young!

We always used a sling wherever we went but it can get a bit hot (for parent and child!)

Our 6 month old got Giaridia (horrible bowel infection) from the water at Hamilton Island - even after I had boiled it - a 5 star tourist spot in Australia, so illnesses can happen ANYWHERE!

Good luck and enjoy!
