The following is an extract from the front page of the Sydney Morning Herald internet site. Things don't look good:
Indonesian prosecutors will tomorrow tell a Bali court that the Gold Coast beauty student Schapelle Corby has admitted owning 4.1 kilograms of marijuana found in her luggage at Denpasar airport, for which she could be sentenced to death.
In the indictment prosecutors will read to the Bali District Court, they also allege the 27-year-old Corby refused to open a boogie-board bag containing the pillow-sized sack of marijuana, a claim that her legal advisers hotly deny.
Prosecutors have decided to prosecute Corby under a law which carries penalties including life imprisonment and a maximum sentence of death.
