my second trip to bali back in 1995 i took my kids rafting. youngest, son, was ten. they both loved it but my son said he wished there were some more rapids. we first went on the Ayung river. next year we went again, this time did the Unda river. this was even better, more exhilarating but still very safe. since then have been another four times, on the Unda or the Telaja Waja rivers. these rivers have a lot less steps also. will be going again this year withe my fifty something girlfriends. go and have a ball.
