I went to Bali in Sept with my husband and 2 children aged 2 & 4. We had been a few times in the past and was a little bit apprehensive. We would normally stay in the Legian area but this time we booked to stay in Nusa Dua for safety reasons. The security at the hotel where we stayed was quite tight and all vehicles entering the hotel were checked with mirrors and the boots were inspected. When we arrived we felt very safe and had a fantastic time. We are already just about to book for our Bali holiday in May this year. This time we plan on staying in Tuban. If we did not feel safe, there would be no way we would take our children there. I think it is possible that something could happen in Bali but I could stay home in Sydney and something could happen here. I cant wait to get back there.
