Geneva is a must!
we went 3 times on our recent trip (you will be like a kid in a candy store, trust me)
Geneva has now opened the top floor now so there are 3 levels. 4th, 3rd and 2nd.
Geneva is a must on your trip, we bought heaps (I guess that is why we was seriously over weight) I have to work out what is better to go at the beginning of the trip to get ideas of prices for in the streets and markets or go at the end of the trip and only get what you can fit in. Anyone know which is the best?
4th floor is large stone and pottery etc.
3rd floor is the best(well that is my opinion)(I always started on that floor)
2nd floor is more smaller, trinket things.
There is a lift and stairs, the lift will only take you to the 3rd floor then you can walk up or down stairs to which other floor you want to go to. (1st trip there we did the elevator thing but the last 2 trips we just used the stairs.
They are excellent they will bubble wrap everything if you ask and even deliver packed to your hotel. FREE (I offered to pay for both services and they said sin can can, no problem)
I have one piece of ADVICE (I feel it is really important) CHECK all statues on the base as they are raw and dirty, we said we would pay if they could sand and seal/stain (I am so glad i did this) We did have 1 thing taken off us at customs that we bought at geneva it was a welcome sign (never thought when i bought it it was raw and no stain or sealer on it) The customs guy said sorry no way can this go into australia (I just said no problem, sin can can)
Someone asked me a question and i wasn't able to answer but now i have found out the answer. Each floor is managed by a different manager, but the 3rd floor manager is the manager of all, i guess he overseas the other floors but concentrates more on the 3rd floor. (I hope that makes sense)
