but I went and had an absolute ball. In my personal opinion, I don't think the dfat website will be changed for a few years to come. Its basically to safe guard the government so they aren't caught out like last time and basically ridiculed for their lack of warning. Its been the same since the bombing but I think they may have elevated it over New Year. Last November recordered over a million visitors to Bali which was the highest its been in months. Not sure where you live but would you move house if you knew Sydney had a travel warning on other international sites? I feel we are as safe in Bali as we are here. Its simple, be smart about your movements and keep an eye out, common sense is the key. Most importantly, really enjoy yourself and once you get there, you'll see why there is no need for worry.
