Sammy the food is good at PR. Breakfast is included and you can order eggs any which way, fruit , beans on toast, American, Continental, Indonesian, tea, coffee, or fruit juice. The toast is not good because their bread is soft and a bit sweet for me. Their restaurant is more expensive than outside, but it is delightful sitting down with a lovely view of the beach. We usually eat outside the hotel, Tommys, which is in Jalan Rum Jungle serves the type of food young people like you like, and it is very cheap. Bali Qui 2 serves all types of food and it is cheap and the service is excellent. If you walk north up the road in front (beach side) of PR you will find resaurants all facing the beach. I have tried a few, but all of them seem to get good reports from BTF. My favourite is Teko Bali that serves beautiful Tuna salad. Half the fun is trying different restaurants, but sometimes you are disappointed. I am sure you will have a great trip. Nearly forgot, most of the restaurants have reasonable European type flush toilets.
