Looks like the rooster has been pecking around for a good deal for awhile. I think what he was saying is that price is very much determined by the time of year and it is impossible to know if it is a good deal without those details.
Anyway a few tips on the MBR that may help. We had interconnecting rooms 156 and 157 (back in June) that were directly opposite the reception area across the pool on the ground floor. These were classed as superior rooms and they were in the new section. Fantastic rooms in a great location. Do not go for the standard rooms in the new section, they are small and do not have a balcony.
In the older section towards the beach are the two and three storey bungalow style rooms. I believe these are very roomy but I do not know the difference between the standard and suite rooms you described.
MBR is a great hotel and is located close to everything. There is heaps of info in the archives but the room types can be confusing. If you like the sound of the new section the room numbers I gave you should be great as you literally step out of the room and into the pool.
Hope this helps
Cheers
Frank
