Most of the better resorts are more expensive that the budget Bali hotels. I've stayed there 3 or 4 times and my bills have always been in Indonesian Rupiah. Not saying things are ultra cheap, but our bills anyway have been in Rupiah.
We package the accomodation from Australia generally - but pay all else when arrive.
