Hello, my husband and I stayed at the Puri Raja for the first time last September, and for the price we thought that it was exceptional value. The bathroom was a little tired, however everything else was good - comfortable bed, good air conditioning, loo worked, had hot water! The staff were pleasant and the breakfast was good (standard bali breakfast). There are 2 pools - most people frequent the front one which has a pool bar which is open to the wee hours. The other is down the back a bit, and not so many people used it so it was a lot quieter. We have only ever stayed at the Griya Santrian at Sanur which is quite a bit more expensive than the Puri - no comparison but what with the price difference that would be expected.
So, overall I would recommend the Puri Raja - for the price that you will pay for it, its great value.
