In the Bali Hindu Religion, babies are considered to be recent returnees from the Spirit World; as such they are venerated.
All female and male staff will be queuing up to dandle, carry, cuddle and spoil your child, feed her/him and do anything at all to keep the giggles and smiles going non-stop. We have known Gardeners and Receptionists to just walk away from their jobs in order to have what they consider a devotional privilege with a young person who is still part God, to them. Bugger the weeds, bugger the phones, there's a baby around the place!
Enjoy the smiles for your baby and just a few for the Mom.
