at Villa Rasa Sayang had a wonderful noisy party in the pool on Nyepi Eve, they had heaps of fun, the neighbours next door were banging their saucepans to get the 'evil spirits' out of the place. On Nyepi Day we were served breakfast and for lunch/dinner we had bought nyepi baskets containing a lovely assortment of food the night before, and also as the hotel didn't have a restaurant we had delicious food ordered and delivered by staff climbing ladders into next door which was the Pertiwi Cottages. We got sunburnt by the pool Nypei Day. The hotel turned off half of the pathway lights and we were allowed to use our lights as long as we had the curtains drawn in the bungalows. A huge thunderstorm finished off Nyepi Day ... wonderful. The next morning it was lovely to 'escape' and go for a ridge walk in Campuhan. This year we are looking forward to seeing the parade on Nyepi Eve.
