I am vegetarian so not sure if that makes any difference, I don't just follow the tourist trail...get out into some remote villages. But I think it is up to the individual...as I said I don't like putting all this stuff in my body...but I'm not a doctor, I would suggest you talk Travel-bug medical & vaccination clinic ( www.travel-bug.com) or the Travel doctor ( www.traveldoctor.com.au)and do what you think is best but don't let paranoia ruin your holiday or you probably will get sick!
