In answer to those who had questioned what the validity requirement of their passport for travel to Bali, here is an extract from the Australian Government web page;
Passport Validity:
Australian travellers should be aware that many countries require travellers to have at least six months validity remaining on their passports. Immigration authorities may refuse entry to Australians arriving with less than this. Travellers should either renew their passport before they travel or check with the diplomatic mission of the country concerned in Australia, or your local travel agent, whether this rule applies to them.
Bali (Indonesia) requires that your passport has six (6) Months validity remaining, the expiry date is very visible on your passport, so make sure you check it.
If you travel anywhere overseas, don't forget to check with your travel agent and they will tell you what the requirements are, better still as a matter of course when you get down to about 9 months just get a new one, better to be safe than sorry.
Hope this helps.
