We recently just got back from Bail and went on some great tours! Even though some were for the 2nd or 3rd time!
One tour we went on was glass bottom boat over to Turtle Island, stoped on the way over for some snorkeling. Plenty of fish to see.
Just make sure you go on a nice clear day! You'll see plenty more.
Turtle island will have Turtles of all sizes, birds, lizards, snakes etc... with plenty of photo opertunities.
Another tour we went on was up to lake Batur. Balis 2nd biggest lake. Very beautiful temple at the lake. On the lake they do water sports. Markets very cheap for shopping. Probably some of the cheapest shopping i did on that holiday. Also there are many beautiful things to see along the way.
Our tour guide/driver is Leroy. He is a great guide with many years experience. Leroy can carry up to 6 adults or 4 adult and 2 bench seats in the back. He charges 150,000Rp. for half a day and 300,000Rp. for a full day. Also Leroy has an esky in his car for refreshments during the day! You can email him on leroykp@yahoo.com
