I agree, give the things away. years ago you could trade your clothes etc as long as you gave some money now the Balinese are hurting because so many people barter right down to the bare minimum. I was in Kuta in November, took cases of things for the orphanages but also kept some for the people in the markets. The look on their faces when I gave them something was incredible. They could not believe I was giving things away. When I go back in March I will do the same thing again. My friends save their things for me also. The smiles and thank yous are worth it.
