There are various 'seasons'. If you are looking at the point of view of cheaper travel then you need to fly in low season (Airline low season). The difference between low and high season air travel is around $200 from Perth (there is also shoulder season). High season air travel is most often tied in with school holidays so by travelling outside these times you can save yourself some money. With regard to accommodation it varies greatly. Some hotels charge the same all year round. Some charge more in July and December/January as it is the most popular time to go to Bali. Weather wise the wet season is generally Nov - March. Make sure you know your airline seasons before booking. I have known people who have booked their holiday not knowing that if they had flown a day earlier they may have saved themselves a small fortune. Hope this helps.
