You will have a great time. The kids will love it. Safe to let the kids do there own thing while you do yours. The area around the Dynasty is great for most things. Turn left from your hotel and only a 10 minute walk to Kuta square for good shopping and food, cheap DVDs, and Kuta markets.
Chat to people at breakfast and by the pool, you will soon make freinds very quickly.
