I asked for a quote from Flight centre last week after we saw the $599 plus taxes, packages advertised, and my email was acknowledged by a manager as received to be passed on and replied to within 48 hours. Yesterday I emailed the manager to complain that I hadnt received a reply. Got an email today and have been asked to supply our names so seats can be reserved on aircraft then accomodation can be booked at a later date. Now that peeves me! It is difficult to have reserved seats unreserved so you can book with another agent, so if I tell FC to go ahead and reserve seats then we are compelled to book rest of trip with them.
I have since emailed Travelworld at Mentone, where I have booked previously and they have always been very helpful.
