and is easy walking distance to lots of restaurants.
Jalan (meaning street)Padma has Wayan and Friends Restaurant.
If you turn left as you walk up Jl Padma from beach, Jl Sahadewa has Indo National Restaurant and heaps of others. AT the ned of Jl Sahadewa there is the market on the left corner and across the road, Uncle Norms, Legian Garden Restaurants.
Rather than book arranged tours it is better to book a driver to go out and about. If you want to go locally, hail a light blue taxi.
I use Wayan Merta for our tours into the countryside and highly recommend his services. It costs around 300,000rp per day to hire a driver and all vehicle costs are included.
Its worth a visit to Kintamani volcano, Git Git waterfall, Nusa Dua, Uluwatu and Tanah Lot temples, the Monkey forest in Ubud. The GWK cultural centre at Jimbaran and a seafood dinner at sunset at Jimbaran Bay. The restaurant at GWK cultural centre, DeMiMiDi has the most superb views over the west coast line, over the airport, Kuta, Legian and also Benoa Harbour, its glorious.
Good luck with your planning and we may see you there then.
